Automobile manufacturer Ferrari just announced the arrival of the next season for its esports competition. The Ferrari HP Esports Series will take place in December this year and will end with a huge LAN event.
This event has a reputation for giving the best drivers an opportunity to become a part of the company’s official esports team, Scuderia Ferrari HP Esports team. Players will get the chance to become a part of this prestigious team in the LAN final later this year.
Ferrari is one of the world’s most popular racing and automobile brands. This year will be the fifth season of its tournament, and it will focus on amateur drivers around the world. Drivers will be chosen from three main regions: the Americas, EMEA, and the APAC region.
Ferrari HP Esports Series allows drivers to usually compete in three driving simulators: the Assetto Corsa Competizione, the Assetto Corsa, and the iRacing. The competition will start with the Hot Qualifiers, giving the fastest drivers a chance to compete in regional qualifiers set to be hosted in July 2024.

Once again, the fastest drivers of the qualifiers will advance to the regional finals and get a chance to race in the global grand finale in December. 15 drivers will be joining through the wildcard driver, a winner of the community cup. This tournament is set to be held across 10 weeks, from July to December.
Players from across the world will get a chance to rank on the large international leaderboard, which is open to all regions. The fastest driver across this 10-week period of time will race the 15 best drivers in the global finale at the Ferrari HP Esports Series.
From the open qualifiers to the last lap of their last race in December, Ferrari will analyze the performance of all 16 drivers. They mentioned that they’ll also look into each player’s consistency throughout the tournament. At the end of the season, Ferrari will determine the best drivers based on their overall performance and consistency.

Gergő Báldi is a Scuderia Ferrari Esports team driver, and he stated in an interview that this championship has always been very challenging and competitive. He mentioned the fact that if such a historical brand organizes something, it has to be grand and the best in the world. Báldi also stressed the fact that every motorsports enthusiast in the world must try their talent in this championship.
Ferrari’s statement suggested that they are transitioning from the real world to the virtual world as well. That’s the reason this tournament is a “crucial move for Ferrari.”
