We Are Getting A New Space RPG Besides Star Citizen
This E3 is bringing a lot of new surprises for us this year. Ubisoft will reveal their new Tom Clancy Splinter Cell, Electronic Arts will announce new Battlefield, CD Project will finally unveil a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, Sony will be showing us some new gameplay footage of Last of Us part 2.Similar to all others video gaming companies Bethesda will also show us it’s new IP game based on space RPG which will be called Starfield. Bethesda software VP Pete Hines said last year:
They didn’t want to be the developer that was just Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Fallout for the rest of their developing careers.
So by this statement, it is now clear that Elder Scrolls 6 is not coming any time soon and neither is Fallout next part. Bethesda currently has two new RPG in development and one of them is space exploration based which will be Starfield, which comes from a mysterious trademark filed under Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media INC.
A well known leaked games source Tidux in 2015 also gave us a hint about this new RPG. You can see the screenshot below:
Some Hints From Developers
A big RPG development can take a little bit more time so instead of late 2017, this new game will now reveal on 2018. Recently company software VP Pete Hines hyped the audience in an interview by saying:
I couldn’t give you any guesses as to what we’re going to announce and when those games will be out but I will say we have a lot of new stuff to talk about E3 whether or not folks realize it this is the hell on earth time for us with E3. We are in the midst of so much planning and work for all that content but I’m really excited. I think we have a lot of stuff that folks are going to like to my earlier comment it’s going to be a big mix of stuff that’s all over the place it’s not going to be like all one kind of game or genre. It’s going to be a lot of stuff in a lot of different areas and hopefully there’s something in there for everybody
