She made a comeback with a different team and has been a regular player since then. Although there were a few matches in which she was allowed for roundabouts, she had been showing her exceptional gaming skills to the world. Her presence of mind, gaming techniques, strategies, role in the team, and dedication to esports make her worthy of being in the industry. From a shy, unknown nobody to a two-time TI Champion, Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen’s journey is nothing short of a Hollywood movie. The Finnish maestro is known for its unorthodox and innovative hero pool in the mid-lane.

In this report, we are going to dive into the success story of Topson, as well as his early life and esports career.

Topson’s Early Life and Family

Topias Miikka Taavitsainen alias Topson was born on April 14, 1998, in Haukipudas, Finland. Topson comes from a big family and has 11 siblings, out of which seven brothers and four sisters. Topson got into Dota in 2006 and wanted to pursue competitive gaming as a career. Just like any other parents, Topson’s parents were a little bit skeptical about the viability of a career in video games.

He is able to prove that he can make a career out of playing video games. In his twenties, he was admitted to a cooking school, as he wanted to focus more on his Esport career.

Topson’s Breakout in Esport

Before his big breakout, Topson was grinding in Esport with lower-level teams in events like the ProDota Cup and Dota League for several years. While none of these teams made a significant impact, it helped Topson get notice. In 2017, he left Esport and started streaming full-time. He went on to become the number-one ranked Dota 2 player on European servers.

In 2018, prior to The International 2018, OG Esports lost its two main players, s4 and Fly, who left the team to join Evil Geniuses. One week later, OG Esports announced their new roster for TI 2018 while also introducing their newest team member Topias ‘Topson’ Taavitsainen.

OG had an underdog status in The International 2018 due to their complete new roster. But OG was able to outlast every other team in the tournament and won the trophy as well, taking the $11 million Prize money.OG and Topson didn’t stop after this, as they went on to win The International 2019.

Topson’s Esport Career and Earnings

Topson started his Esports career at the age of 16. He played his first Esports tournament in 2014, where he made a total of $188.37, and his team finished in 3rd place.

Topson then made a comeback in Esports in 2017, where he played for SFTe-sports. Not only did he earn $700 from tournament winnings, but the team was also able to win the ProDotA Cup Europe twice that year.

In 2018, Topson joined OG Esports. The team wins the prestigious The International tournaments twice in 2018 and 2019. From which Topson made over $5 million in Esports earnings. As of May 2024, Topson has a tournament earnings of $5,756,841.20.

Topson’s Personal Life

Apart from his success in Esports, the Finnish player is able to achieve everything in his personal life. Topson is married to his longtime girlfriend Mawar Remy. It’s unknown when they met, but their relationship came to the limelight in August 2019 at the premiere of the Red Bull film “Against the Odds.” The couple have a child, named Riina.

Warframe is one of the most popular MMO RPG games, which was initially released in 2013. It’s been 11 years and it’s still growing. The developers released the game in Android and IOS later this year, exploring the Mobile audience. Here is a beginner guide for Beginners, who want to play Warframe in 2024.

What are Warframes? Which Warframe to Choose?

After starting the game players will have the option to choose from three Warframes. Warframes are exo-armor suits, which give players protection against enemies and grant them special abilities. There are three Warframes players you can choose from. The three Warframes are –

Excalibur is a Warframe with a balanced set of powers. This Warframe gives you special abilities, such as Slash Dash, Radial Blind, Radial Javelin, and Exalted Blade.

Meg is one of the least favorite Warframe in the game due to its damage. The Warframe has magnetic powers but low damage.

Volt, is a go-to Warframe for beginners, as it gives high damage and has a high speed compared to others. Volt has abilities like Shock, Speed, Electric Shield, and Discharge. Volt has become the best Warframe among the players due to its multiple abilities, and I will recommend you to choose Volt.

Choosing the Best Weapons in Warframe

Melee Weapons

Melee weapons can be great when you don’t want to fight a hurdle of enemies at one go, but rather want to kill them one by one in stealth mode. Here are two Melee weapons you can choose from.

  • The Skana

The Skana sword is very powerful and has a high attack speed.

  • The Mk-1 Bo

The Mk-1 Bo is very slow but has sweeping attacks that can easily take multiple enemies in one hit.

Primary Weapons

Primary weapons are the heart of the Weapon category, as it can give high damage in long fights.

  • The Mk-1 Braton

An all-rounder assault rifle with high firing rates and accuracy.

  • The Paris

This bow and arrow is perfect for sneaky killing but not good for instant fight.

Secondary Weapons

Secondary Weapons aren’t that necessary but can work great when your Primary Weapons are low on ammo.

  • The Lato

A pistol with average damage with a high accuracy rate.

  • Kunai

Popularly known as the Silent Kunai, these can work great when you care about being stealthy.

It’s time for Battle! How to Complete Vor’s Prize?

After choosing the Warframe and weapons, you have to complete the initial mission ‘Vor’s Prize.’ This can be hard but you can win the mission by using mods.

Choose mods that boost your shields, Health, and Armor. Additionally, you will get free copies of Redirection which will increase your Warframe’s Shield, and Vitality increases your health. These mods can be really helpful while completing the mission.

After completing Vor’s Prize players will be able to access a variety of locations and quests. I will recommend you to explore the game more.

Xbox has suddenly closed four of its Bethesda studios, including Redfall’s developer Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks, earlier this week. The other two studios were Alpha Dog Games, developer of Mighty Doom, and Bethesda support team Roundhouse Games. These teams released a closure to their shutdown, while Xbox remained silent on the whole topic.

Four days later, in a Bloomberg interview, host Dina Bass asked Xbox president Sarah Bond about the closure. Sarah stated her desire to keep the Xbox business healthy in the long run, even if it requires her to make hard decisions.

Sarah also mentioned that they haven’t closed these studios out of spite or without considering all the options. She stated that there are many great things coming out later this year as well. But their main goal right now is to support the people to cope with this hard transition.

About Tango Gamework’s Closure

Dina Bass then asked Sarah about the closure of Tango Gameworks after the Hi-Fi rush, which was a big success. To the Question Sarah didn’t answer straightforwardly. Sarah answered about her love for the games in their pure art form and how she likes them to be perfect. She mentioned that when it’s about making big decisions, they look at each game team’s performance and other factors.

While Dina addressed these closures, there isn’t much clarity from one of the biggest companies in the gaming industry. Neither Xbox, nor Microsoft has cleared about their huge transitional decisions and layoffs.

Born on 26th October 1999 in Australia, Anathan Pham is also known as Ana in the gaming world. Being a member of OG, Anathan “Ana” Pham has played in three iterations of The International, winning two championships in 2018 and 2019. Not only that, Ana has also won two major Dota 2 championship tournaments in his career.

Ana is an avid Dota 2 player and often plays more than 10 hours a day for practice. In 2016, he was offered a position at Invictus Gaming’s in-house league. To pursue this opportunity, Ana decided to drop out of school and move to Shanghai at the age of 16.

After The International 2016, he left Invictus Gaming and joined OG. Later that year, Ana won his first tournament at the Elimination Mode Season 2. After that, he also won his first major event by defeating Ad Finem with a score of 3-1 in the grand finales of the Boston Major.

As The International 2017 commenced and OG completely underperformed, OG announced his break from the professional scene. Early in 2018, Ana decided to join the short-lived Echo International.

Anathan “Ana” Pham International Victories

Months before The International 2018, OG’s co-founder left the organisation with S4, which made OG struggle to fill the gap of players in their roster. Ana decided to rejoin the team with a novice named Topson, who was a solo middle specialist. This made Ana move into the Hard Carry role.

Being considered underdogs in the gaming industry, they proved otherwise by advancing to the finals of the 2018 international tournament and winning. This win by OG was named one of the greatest underdog stories ever in gaming history.

After winning the championship, Pham decided to take a break from professional Dota 2.

Not staying away for too long, Ana returned to the team in March 2019 and won The International 2019. This made him and his team the first consecutive winners of The International. After being the top carrier for the team, he moved to the active roster in April 2021.

Anathan “Ana” Pham Retirement From The Game

After being with the team for two short months, Pham announced his retirement from the Dota 2 competitive gaming. Again, after a few months, he came back as a substitute player for Team Liquid and Royal Never Give Up in the PGL Arlington Major and Riyadh Masters.
