PUBG- Battlegrounds is one of the most active games in the battle royale genre. As it has already been seven years since its inception, players have been missing the old Erangel map for quite some time. Although it’s for a limited time, the good news is that PUBG is bringing the Erangel map back this month.

The Erangel Classic event will be active on PC from 14 May to 28 May and on console from 23 May to 6 June. Taehyun Kim, Production Director of PUBG, recently spoke about the event and mentioned that reverting the whole map was impossible. However, their team has tried to recreate the same map as identical to the old one and hoped that it would be acceptable.

Difference Between The Old Map And The New One

Kim mentioned that the new Erangel event might not be a perfect replica of the old map, as restoring the old assets to their new versions would be impractical. However, the development team has put their efforts into recreating the old-school gunplay balance, fonts, and UI based on past records and data.

Players might feel like they are back in 2017, as during firefights, it would take the old timing to kill an enemy, and the recoil would be different. Kim stated that the recoil had to be increased according to the new ARs in the game, and players would get a classic feeling with old recoil settings.

With a rich history of PUBG being released in 2017 by Brendan Greene, it instantly became a pioneer among other games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty: Warzone. The game is really focused on bringing back the old retrospection and providing players with a little nostalgia.

The biggest announcement from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as the two highly requested Paradox Pokémon will return in the Tera raid. The Scarlet and Violet will bring the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, respectively in Dive-Star as a 5-star boss. Now, the players will have another chance to catch these exclusive Pokémon after the winter holiday season of 2023.

Ergo, trainers will now be able to trace or host online Tera raid battles and allow other players to join and catch the exclusive Paradox Pokemon from the opposite games. The Walking Wake and Iron Leaves respectively belong to Legendary Pokemon Suicune and Verizon. Now, players can catch these Paradox Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet and bolster their attack via the Protosynthesis and Quark Drive abilities.

The Starting Of The Tera Ride Battle In Scarlet And Violet

According to Serebii.net, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will be available as five-star Tera Raid Bosses. The battle will start on Thursday, 25 this year, at 8 P.M. Eastern and will end on May 5 at 7:59 PM Eastern. The Tera Battel will resume right after the Meganium the Unriyaled and will take the place of seven-star bosses in Scarlet and Violet.

The return of Walking Wake and Iron Leave will come with the condition that they can be caught once on the platform. Players who previously caught the Paradox Pokemon will not be able to opt in again. But they will not go empty-handed, as these two exclusive Pokemon will drop Shards, EXP Candies, and valuable items.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will have all the opportunity to opt for these items as Nuggets and Pearl that can be sold at a Vindor for money. Now, players will have all the cache to catch the Paradox pokemon after the winter season. It will remain till other Legendary Pokemon will join the platform as Tera ride bosses.
