Sony Interactive Entertainment launched the PlayStation India Hero Project in 2023, an incubator program designed to support game developers with resources, mentorship, and more to help them create their games. The first cohort included five games: Fishbowl, Mukti, Meteora, Requital Gates of Blood, and Suri: The Seventh Note. Sony has now announced their second cohort Submission along with further details.

Interested game developers can now participate in the second edition of the PlayStation India Hero Project, as submissions are now open to everyone. Sony also shared Important details about the submission process, including submission date, requirements, previous cohort applications, evaluation of previous cohort games, and post-submission dates. Submission Date and Procedure for PlayStation India Hero Project 2024
The submission for the second cohort has started and it will conclude On July 31, 2024. Applicants must include a comprehensive submission package, which should contain the game pitch, budget, and demo. Previous cohort applicants would be able to submit applications for new games, but their previous cohort games will only be re-evaluated if substantial changes have been made. In case you miss the deadline, your submission will be considered for the next cohort.
Benefits of the PlayStation India Hero Project
Selected applicants for the second cohort of the India Hero Project will receive several benefits from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), including mentorship, access to SIE’S internal services, recoupable development funding, global promotion as part of the India Hero Project, and the opportunity to have their game published by SIE.
