Fau-G is a game that I don’t think anyone wants to remember, a game that had huge potential but it ended up becoming a nightmare for both the fans and Developers. The game was full of glitches, and bad controls with completely misleading the audience regarding it being a Battle Royal game. The game failed to deliver what it promised to the audience, and vice versa gamers and enthusiasts didn’t stop from trolling nCore Games and developers.

nCore Games now collaborated with Dot9 Games to make the spiritual successor of Fau-G, FAU-G Domination. Even though nCore Games collaborated with Dot 9, the new game is completely under new and experienced game developers. Dot9 Games developers have worked in several popular games such as Spider-Man Mobile, BioShock Mobile, and IPL Cricket. Dot9 Games CEO Deepak Ali has recently given an interview, where he talks about the development stage of the game, what fans can expect, the Release Date, and the inspiration behind the game.

FAU-G Domination Current Development Stage & Expected Release Date ?

Ali said that FAU-G Domination is now in a development stage where the studio can present it to peers and critics for feedback. Dot9 Games showcased the game at the recent Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2024 in San Francisco and at IGDC last year and got a very positive response.

Regarding the release date, Ali revealed that the game needs some polishing before they decide a final release date.

Why create a Game like FAU-G Domination?

Ali revealed that the main reason behind the creation of FAU-G Domination is that “India needs a shooter of its own” like other countries have. The U.S. has Call of Duty, China has Genshin Impact, and creating a shooter game will “generate greater talent in the nation.”

Microtransactions in FAU-G Domination

According to Ali, the game will be completely free with micro-transactions like other shooting games, including a battle pass with cosmetic items. The items will be purely cosmetic with no pay-to-win elements.

Ali Highlighted that micro-transaction in games like BGMI and Modern Warfare 3 has become a status symbol. People kind of get bullied into buying cosmetics items, and spend thousands of rupees on it. According to Ali, these are some big flaws in the mobile shooting genre, he acknowledged the need for microtransactions as they help game developers, but he also commented that “players should have accessible spending options.”

Dot9 Games will give various microtransactions options at any and every budget so that anyone can purchase it.

Deepak Ali on Trolling

Since the release of the first game Faug-G, the developers have faced several trolling online. Talking about the Trolling, Ali revealed that Every game franchise has its detractors, and Fau-G is no exception. However, in Dot9 Games we are not ignoring the valid concerns raised by the fans regarding the previous release. We stay motivated by solving the issues and striving to meet our milestones for shipping the game, such as releasing a gameplay trailer and sharing game demos.

FAU-G Domination a Call of Duty Clone?

Since the gameplay trailer people assumed that the game is a clone of Call of Duty, and Ali clarified the rumours. Ali commented that COD has inspired the game, but it’s “squarely targeting the Indian audience first.”

Battle Royal Mode in FAU-G Domination

The previous game had promised and the developers also kind of promoted the game being a Battle Royal, Ali also revealed that the team has plans to introduce Battle Royal. However, their current focus is making a fun game.

FAU-G Domination Device Requirements

Ali emphasized that shooter games has the most demanding audience right now, and sometimes it creates challenges for them. As the mobile market is dominated by mid-range to low-end smartphones while shooting games require high graphics and FPS.

To tackle this problem FAU-G Domination will deliver 30 FPS on low-end devices and 60 FPS on high-end smartphones. Ali assured that players will be able to play this game on both low-end and high-end smartphones.
