NODWIN Gaming and Riot Games have joined hands to organise LAN playoffs in India for VALORANT challengers South Asia Split 2. This most awaited championship is scheduled to commence at NODWIN Gaming Arena in Chattarpur.
NODWIN is a leading gaming and esports media company and Riot Games is a leading video game publisher that is collaborating with the aim to offer unparalleled Valorant experience to both fans and athletes. Last year they held a publisher-backed esports league, the OMEN Challengers South Asia which was a great success, so this year’s schedule is out.
Recently, group stages were held from June 4th- 12th, in which 8 VALORANT teams participated and completed to move to playoffs. Among those 8, two teams from each group have advanced to playoffs with their exceptional performance and winning during the matches. Revenant Esports and Velocity Gaming from Group A and True Rippers ANd Orangutan from Group B will now face each other in the playoffs to win a spot in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Ascension.
The teams participating in OMEN Valorant Challengers South Asia Split 2 will not only represent the country in VCT Ascension 2024 in Japan but will also get a prize pool of $130,000. The Co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming, Akshat Rathee, said in his recent interview that they are proud to provide a platform to the Valorant athletes where they can showcase their gaming skills and talents to the world. It is a great opportunity for Indian Esports players to compete with each other and get the best team to represent the country in global tournaments.
