Tundra Esports win against OG confirmed their seat in the DreamLeague Season 23 Main Event. OG gave a tough competition, but they weren’t able to tackle Tundra Esports strategies and gameplay executions.

Tundra Esports’ carry player, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko, played a pivotal role in the team’s victory. Ivan showcased his amazing lane control, first as the character Morphling, and then as Luna. This gives an early advantage to Tundra. Team Liquid is also qualified for the Main Tournament.

Tundra Esports Vs OG: Match Recap

In the first game, OG decided to go for a tri-core melee lineup involving Sven, Pangolier in the midlane, and Kunkka in the offlane. They might have thought this as their best lineup against Tundra Esports, but the lineup backfired. Therefore, Pure’s Luna was way ahead of other heroes on the networth table. The second game was a little shorter than the first game, as Tundra secured victory in just 28 Minutes.

BGMI Teams Not To Play Tournaments On Mondays https://thegamingnewz.com/esports/bgmi-teams-not-to-play-tournaments-on-mondays/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=bgmi-teams-not-to-play-tournaments-on-mondays https://thegamingnewz.com/esports/bgmi-teams-not-to-play-tournaments-on-mondays/#respond Tue, 19 Mar 2024 15:39:19 +0000 https://thegamingnewz.com/?p=2454 Recently, the head of Esports of Orangutan, Vinay “Hades” Rao, announced in his live stream that no BGMI teams will be playing any tournaments on Mondays except the official events. Recently, the head of Esports of Orangutan, Vinay “Hades” Rao, announced in his live stream that no BGMI teams will be playing any tournaments on Mondays except the official events. The decision was made in order to provide their players enough time to rest before the major tournaments/ events start.

Coaches, managers, and decision-makers of each BGMI team formed a WhatsApp group where this decision was made.

On Mondays, no third-party tournaments will be played by most of the team, and they will only play if there is an official event. However, they have also assured that no prior commitments will be broken and will be completed even after the implementation of this decision. The teams play multiple tournaments every day, which exhausts them, and they need to be in the right form before the major events.

In his live stream, “Hades” also revealed that they have asked for Point of View Streaming (POV) because there are many organizations that will play from the Quarter Finals stage. Earlier, the teams were invited to play in the semi-finals directly, but this time, there was a change in the format, and that has lengthened the tournament. This time, they will promote the tournament by putting the logos, names, etc, if they are given POV rights. However, if their request is rejected, then no teams will participate and play in the tournament. This step is taken to find other opportunities to earn money apart from the prize pool.

The BGMI tournaments have seen an increase ever since the unbanning of BGMI in May 2023, as several tournaments were organized in the very first month. In 2024, more than fifteen tournaments have already been held in the past three months, with more official and third-party LAN events in line.

Before the marquee BGMI events like BGIS start, the teams want their players to get appropriate rest and not get exhausted due to daily matches. These matches are mostly in offline format, so they aim to provide better opportunities for players as the popularity of the sports increases. BGIS 2024 is expected to start from 4th April, so most teams will not be playing any third-party matches on Mondays.
