Created by Hasbro, ‘Life in Reterra’ is one of the most enjoyable board games for family and friends rather than avid adults. Now, they are trying to appeal to an older audience and seem to have succeeded with their latest board game, Life in Reterra.

This board game is designed by two excellent designers Ken Gruhl and Eric M. Lang. They have developed an amazing approachable game with plenty of fun elements for everyone. Ken Gruhl is best known for his quick and aesthetic party games such as Mantis and Cahoots. Eric M. Lang is known for his strategic work on games such as Bloodborne: The Card Game, Victorian Masterminds, and Cthulhu: Death May Die.

Everything inside Life in Rettera game have

The game review and packaging of the Life in Retarra board game will be discussed as it is one of the best board games. It contains four boxes that have all the game’s cards and tokens. Each has leafy borders, three tile shapes, and a number. There are plastic boxes that prevent them from spilling out, and purchasing extra board game organisers and thick cardboard dividers to prevent the boxes from getting damaged.

There are 104 land tiles made up of thick, durable cardboard with beautiful designs. There are meeples that are also made up of wood and stamped with details and character illusion. There are scorepads with 50 double-sided sheets that concisely remind you how to score each game. Some handbooks are also there, which have thick material fabric pages, with some extra pages for you and your tablemates to create your tile sets, which give you the royal treatment. The rulebook is only 15 pages long, and the plethora of images makes it easy to follow.

Hugo Cuellar’s vibrant or artistic illusions, bright colour palette, and prevalence of life in the humans, cows, and birds make the game’s vibe feel bustling and beautiful. The cover is the best illusion of all reclaimed with things like makeshift farms, Dilapidated windmills, and houses made of old rockets on cards, tokens, and rulebooks.

Even someone who has ever played Monopoly games will make them play Life in Reterra within a few minutes. This game is very exciting as well as fun to play with your loved ones.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Review: A Gameloft Game Without Microtransactions  https://thegamingnewz.com/reviews/disney-dreamlight-valley-review-a-gameloft-game-without-microtransactions/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=disney-dreamlight-valley-review-a-gameloft-game-without-microtransactions https://thegamingnewz.com/reviews/disney-dreamlight-valley-review-a-gameloft-game-without-microtransactions/#respond Mon, 10 Jun 2024 13:50:26 +0000 https://thegamingnewz.com/?p=3251 Gameloft has a bad reputation for making games pay-to-win and hitting users with a paywall every minute. Gameloft has a bad reputation for making games pay-to-win and hitting users with a paywall every minute. But they didn’t mess with this one. Disney Dreamlight Valley was released in early access for Console, PC, iOS, and Nintendo Switch users in Late, 2022. Since then the game has become one of the popular games of Gameloft.

It was initially planned to be a free-to-play game, but Gameloft soon reverted it, releasing the game as a pay-for title upon its official release in December 2023. But is it worth buying the game?? Here is a review of Disney Dreamlight Valley, and whether you should buy it or not.

What is the plot of Disney Dreamlight Valley?

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players enter a neglected village surrounded by a mysterious fog called “The Forgetting,” which caused its Disney and Pixar residents to lose their long cherished memories. In the game players have to help those characters rediscover their past memories and break the mysterious curse, to restore the Valley’s former glory.

Gameplay and Features

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life-simulation game that gives you the freedom to customize your surroundings. The game offers various stuff to explore, from sun-dappled meadows to mystical forests. As you gather resources, you can craft furniture and decorations to personalize your house and the surroundings.

The Disney Factor

One of the best reasons to play this game is for Nostalgia, to cherish your childhood memories where you used to watch Disney movies. The game perfectly blends the charm of Disney into the game, whether the plot of Good Vs Evil, or interacting with the Iconic Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Wall-E, Moana, Simba, Woody, Buzz Lightyears, Donald Duck, and many more.

Each of these characters offers a unique storyline and quest to complete. In a quest with Moana, you have to collect several resources to repair her boat and remove obstacles, so you can sail to a new area. These quests are very simple, but sometimes you have to complete tricky puzzles which can be a headache.

Disney Dreamlight Valley isn’t Polished

The game has been well-received for its vibrant graphics and smooth performance, particularly on consoles like the PS5. However, some players have reported minor bugs and technical issues. The game is far from finished, it needs some heavy polishing through future updates.

Should you buy Disney Dreamlight Valley??

Disney Dreamlight Valley will cost you $29.99 on Steam. You should buy it if you are looking for a unique game with a bit of Nostalgia, but I recommend not buying it if you hate grinding. The game needs a lot of patience, and not for those looking for quick fun and entertainment.

Indus Battle Royale receives negative reviews from gamers and fans after its beta release https://thegamingnewz.com/reviews/indus-battle-royal-receives-negative-reviews-from-gamers-and-fans-after-its-beta-release/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=indus-battle-royal-receives-negative-reviews-from-gamers-and-fans-after-its-beta-release https://thegamingnewz.com/reviews/indus-battle-royal-receives-negative-reviews-from-gamers-and-fans-after-its-beta-release/#respond Tue, 07 May 2024 09:12:47 +0000 https://thegamingnewz.com/?p=2818 Indus Battle Royale by SuperGaming recently started giving early access to various users through its Beta Program. Indus Battle Royale by SuperGaming recently started giving early access to various users through its Beta Program. Even though fans eagerly waited for the release, their expectations died after playing the Beta version. Some fans and gamers even call it a cheap copy of Apex Legends.

Popular gamer and YouTuber Aayush Goel, aka Lazy Assassin, recently played the beta version of Indus Battle Royale and shared his review about it on YouTube. He pointed out major issues of the game as well as called it a blatant rip-off of EA’s Apex Legends.

Goel played the game in his Galaxy S24, which is currently the number one phone in Android. Even though he played the game on the best device, he faced a heating issue. Goel wasn’t the only one to face heating issues, as several other Indus Battle Royale players faced the same issue. This may be due to optimization. Developers should optimize the game for every device to reach users across the country.

Goel pointed out some minor issues, which are bugs and glitches. He was kind of ready for it, as Beta versions are known for having bugs and glitches. He pointed out that the games feel dull and boring because of their color texture and places. All places on the map are empty, and the color use of the game is also very dull. It doesn’t look Cinematic, which SuperGaming promised through the trailer.

The game is very basic. It doesn’t have Boosters, Armor, or any other thing, making it unique like Free Fire, which has character ability. BGMI and Free Fire offer some unique stuff, making them stand out from other Battle Royale games. Indus Battle Royale has one selling point, which is the Indian Themed Map and Characters, but it is not going to last any longer. I’m not going to play games just because it’s based on an Indian theme. It should be entertaining and worth my time.

In the end, Goel said the game is a complete rip-off of Apex Legends, developers copied the guns, loot crates, mechanics, and even some designs from Apex Legends. It is not a bad thing that Indus Battle Royale copied Apex Legends, the recently released Palworld is a copy of Pokémon. But Palworld can stand out from Pokémon due to its fun and unique gameplay. Gamers just want a good game. They don’t care about whether it’s a copied game or a completely new game.

He pointed out the hypocrisy of SuperGaming for overhyping the game as the next big thing in India. This kind of became a trend for some Indian developers to use the word Indian to sell out a game. They don’t care about gameplay. First, it was the Fau-G game, which made fun of Indian sentiment by calling it an Indian Battle Royale.

I hope SuperGaming improves their game after recent criticism. The game is still in the development phase, and they can do a lot of things to improve it.
