Sasha was born and brought up in Kingston, Ontario, on December 14, 1993, and since her childhood, she has been fond of playing video games. She started playing StarCraft II in April 2011 and made her first debut in the competitive gaming world in the same year while participating in an online female-only league and NESL Iron Lady. She won both tournaments in a row in the same year.

Hostyn is a transgender woman and, at the same time, has no issue carrying character. She stated that her gender identity has no connection to how she plays and that she is always focused on improving her game.

Scarlett: Gaming Career

Scarlett started playing games in 2011 but became prominent in 2012 when she was given an outstanding performance at the StarCraft II tournament in 2012. By 2013, she achieved rank 21 in StarCraft II and placed second position in NorthCon. Hostyn participated in seven esports tournaments, scored first position in all of them, and became the paid female gamer.

The turning point came in her career when she lost some of the competitive drive of StarCraft II. In 2015, she started playing Dota 2 and performed well in some of the biggest tournaments. By June 2015, she returned to StarCraft II by joining the Dead Pixel team and competing in Korean leagues.

Scarlett has earned a total prize money of $465,550.06 From 278 Tournaments, holds a world ranking of 519, and ranks 20 in her country. She was titled “The Queen of StarCraft II,” a “Korean Kryptonite,” and “The Queen of Blades” while playing StarCraft II. The New Yorker owned her “The Most Accomplished Women in Esports,” and Polygon described her as a pro scene in StarCraft II in 2014.

Guinness Book of Record has also entered her as “the highest earning for female competitive video game player” on October 5, 2016. She also became the woman to win major tournaments of StarCraft II while winning the Intel Extreme Master tournament held in the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang 2018.

In the new season of Fortnite, players can encounter four bosses in order to acquire powerful weapons and special abilities. But unlike the other three bosses, Zeus is one of the hardest bosses in the new Chapter 5. But don’t worry as I am going to guide you on ‘How to Beat Zeus’.

Where to Find Zeus in Fortnite Map?

Zeus is located on Mount Olympus on the Map. You shouldn’t have any problems with finding the location.

After going to Mount Olympus, proceed to the main hallway, where a central altar holds a statue of Zeus.

In order to fight with Zeus, you have to engage with a statue to trigger the boss battle. It’s not going to be easy for you,  be ready before the big battle with Zeus

Prepare for the Battle Against Zeus.

Before triggering Zeus, gear up. Remember, you won’t be the only one eying for the Mythic Huntress DMR. There are going to be plenty of players on Mount Olympus. They might sabotage your plans, so you should prioritize searching for weapons and shields to maintain maximum health.

It’s recommended to get shotguns and SMGs as your weapon. SMGs are killers in Mid range fighting, while shotguns are pretty good for close range. Snipers can give fatal damage when you use it well, but it’s very hard to use them in close range. 

Thunderbolts also can be really good weapons while attacking Zeus. While fighting Zeus, please look out for other players as well. 

How to Defeat Zeus In Fortnite?

In order to completely defeat Zeus, players have to complete three stages. 

First Stage – 

After summoning, Zeus will wield a Warforged Assault Rifle and boast substantial health and shields. To effectively take down his shields, you should use EMP grenades. Maintain a high ground. This can force Zeus to pursue, making him vulnerable. 

Now, with which bosses you are fighting, headshots are always the best way to defeat them. Aim for headshots using SMGs, or you can use Snipers. Beware of his lightning attacks, seek cover or run away to avoid them. 

Second Stage – 

After defeating Zeus for the first time, he kneels and creates a lightning bubble around him, immobilizing himself. In the second stage, he will summon minions armed with Assault Rifles to help the Greek God. 

Players must eliminate these minions, to go into the third and final stage. Each of them has a limited health pool of 100, which makes them vulnerable targets.

Remember to reload your gun before eliminating the last minions, to gear up for the final battle with the boss.

Final Stage – 

After eliminating the last minion, Zeus will rise up in the air in his lightning bubble and absorb it, significantly increasing in size, nearly doubling his normal character model, as well his health pool. You must be cautious of his lethal leap attack. When an electric ring appears around a player, they should quickly move away, as Zeus leaps into it, damaging anyone within the circle.

Take covers regularly, and don’t stay in one place. Attack regularly and you will defeat Zeus. 

Perks of Defeating Zeus In Fortnite 

After defeating Zeus in Fortnite, players will be able to claim two important rewards like Zeus’ Speed Medallion, and Mythic Huntress DMR Sniper. 

The speed Medallion will enhance the player’s speed and jump capabilities. But beware as it can also reveal your location on the Map.

Zeus’ Huntress DMR is special as it gives 79 damage on body shots and can easily eliminate a player in one Headshot.

After the roster shuffle of Tundra Esports’ first international tournament, Ivan shared his thoughts in an interview. The questionnaire included all the expectations, changes in professional scenes, and how Ivan feels about shifting to a new team. 

Expectations And Goals Of MinD_ContRoL 

Starting with the first question, the interviewer asked Ivan about his goals and expectations for the near future. Introducing himself, Ivan mentioned that this tournament might be their first, but it’s just an online cup for the team; even then, they are taking it seriously.

Ivan also mentioned that the team’s goal is to get in the top four, as it doesn’t matter for them to get in the top position at the moment. He added that getting in the top two would be enough, but the thing that matters is that they perform their best in those matches. As they are against some of the best teams in the world, how they manage is more important, according to MinD_ContRoL.

Transition Experience Of Ivan From Nigma To Tundra

The interviewer asked Ivan about his experience with this new team and how it feels to be here. Ivan answered that he misses his old team and their atmosphere, but this new team is completely different to him. He is trying to make friends with his new teammates, but these things take time.

He also mentioned that he missed getting into a new environment and meeting new people as he spent 8 long years with his old team of Liquid and Nigma combined. 

The interviewer asked him about his opinion on Valve removing DPC (Dota Pro Circuit) following TI. Ivan answered, saying that it was a good idea and would be even better if some more changes were made. For Ivan, DPC is just an online cup, and it’s a bit boring, as it takes a lot of time to play just a single match.

Ivan also added that he believes that the grouping concept is flawed and that even weaker teams should get a chance to be at the LAN (Local Area Network) events.

About Valve’s Decision To Ban All Smurfs

The interviewer asked Ivan for his thoughts on Valve’s decision to ban all smurfs, including professional players. MinD_ContRoL mentioned that he doesn’t care much about it, as players are going to find their way back to Smurfing. Ivan has also been away from Smurfs for years, so he is unable to relate with those who love Smurfing.

Ivan added to his statement that, in some matters, it is actually good as it will allow everyone to know about their opponents’ stats. It surely will reduce some Smurfers, but people can simply get another PC and continue with their games.

Teams MinD_ContRoL Would Like To Join

When asked which team Ivan would like to join for the dream league, he answered, “Team Spirit for sure.” Ivan showed an interest in playing with Spirit and also wants to go against the BetBoom team in the dream league, as they are the top-ranking teams. 

Another team MinD_ContRoL would like to join is Team Falcons (Champions of Dubai), but for that, Ivan would need to clear out the group stage. He also wants to play against teams Liquid, Extreme, and Azure Ray. 

Ivan also mentioned that playing with Topson is a great experience for him. As he didn’t know much about them before, playing with him lets Ivan know a lot about Topson. Ivan added that he respected the guy even before meeting him, and now his respect for Topson has only increased.

At the end of this Interview, MinD_ContRoL said to his opponents and fans, “Be ready; we are coming for you.”

Former professional Counter-Strike (CS) players kennyS and RpK made an appearance at Epic.LAN 41 in Kettering. It is sponsored by the skins platform Tradeit, and both players are there to feature in a charity Shomatch in Epic.LAN 41. When asked about the partnership with Tradeit, KennyS said they have been working together for a long time, and he really values their relationship. RpK also expressed his gratitude to Tradeit for inviting him to feature in a charity Showmatch.

When KennyS was asked if this event was different, he said it was similar to other UK events. Both players asked about the team’s chemistry at the event, and they said that the team’s chemistry must be good. They said that the event was enjoyable, which means people must get along with each other. 

KennyS said that players competing in this event have a lot of potential. A good player like Smooya gets destroyed, which means the opponents are tough in the competition. Also, KennyS sees great potential in the UK players and lauds Thomas and Cypher for their achievements.

Since KennyS has won IEMs, Pro Leagues, and Majors, he was asked if this event was too easy for him. He said if he can make a team, he will surely win easily. He said,  Smooya, who is a good player, was destroyed in the event because he didn’t have good players on his side.

When asked about views on the current state of CS2, KennyS said it needs some improvements and suggested including some left-handed weapons since he is a left-hander. RpK suggested including more rotation in the map pool and personalized skins.

When both players were asked whether they liked football, RpK left the question to KennyS to answer because he doesn’t like football. On the other hand, KennyS identified himself as a PSG supporter. When asked about the connection with the Falcons, KennyS remained silent because no announcement was made

Both players were asked about their future plans, KennyS said he wants to create his own content and grow bigger on YouTube and other social media platforms. RpK said he will focus on his car workshop because he is enjoying that.

In a question about his teammate from Team Falcons Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak remarked that he gave only 10% effort during their recent victory in Dubai, ATF said they didn’t need to be at 100% for that tournament. He hinted that he is saving his best performance for Dream League. 

In a comparison of ATF’s current Team Falcons with his previous teams, OZ, Nigma, and Quest, he said previous team members were the same age as him. However, Team Falcons has a unique dynamic and significant age gap between members, which is a different experience for him.

ATF provided insights into the removal of DPC (Dota Pro Circuit) by saying it didn’t impact him personally and will bring more opportunities for LAN events. According to ATF, it might be a problem for newcomers because they won’t get the chance to play in Division 2 and have to prove themselves.

About the best regions in competitive gaming, ATF said Western Europe is dominant, but MENA (Middle East and North Africa) is catching up. Also, ATF sees PSG Quest as a strong team that can compete with the best. In a question about his trash-talking behavior, ATF said it’s his strategy to tilt opponents, especially when he was younger. He acknowledges that it can be divisive, but he will continue taking this chance to win.

When asked about Valve’s ban on Smurf accounts, ATF said he liked it and it would level the playing field for everyone. Also, players should be accountable for Smurfing because nobody enjoys this. Additionally, ATF said he doesn’t fully understand the Overwolf and Overplus programs, but if Valve prohibits them, they should be banned.

When ATF was asked to express his thoughts about his criticism of having a limited hero pool, he said that winning is his priority. He believes that if only one hero can win his game, then he will play with only one hero. Also, he expresses his interest in adding Beastmaster to his hero pool. 

Additionally, ATF chose OZ and Team Secret as his favorite opponents in the upcoming tournament. ATF expressed his gratitude for fans’ support and promised them more victories. Also, he warned his opponents by saying that they would be coming for more wins.

As per the reports published by HP, half percent of serious gamers (esports players) are earning between 6 lakhs to 12 lakhs yearly, just by following their passion. HP invited 3500 people from 15 Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, including 500 parents. 70 percent of participants were PC gamers, and only 30 percent were mobile gamers.

The survey also highlighted that 75 percent of the participants were male, and only 25 percent were female. Gamers are now coming more from non-metro cities, the survey highlighted that 59 percent of participants were from Tier-2 cities. More than 75% of participants belonged to GenZ, where 67% of participants were millennials. 

As per a report, players in Esports grew exponentially between 2021 and 2022. As per the reports published by Statista Esports market, India is set to reach $124.8 Million in 2024. Due to the growth of Esports, OTT and satellite channels are investing more in Esports. Star Sports, one of the biggest sports channels in India, live telecasted an esports tournament. Invest in Good Hardware & Gear

If you are playing Fortnite then your main gaming equipment will be your hardware from CPU, GPU to Keyboard, Mouse, and a good monitor. Belvines told in his stream that he started with cheap hardware, he had a very bad mouse and keyboard. He upgraded himself over time and purchased some high-quality hardware and products. He wished that he kind of waited and purchased at one time. 

According to Ninja gamers should go for a mechanical keyboard, rather than a normal keyboard. Normal keyboards have thine input membrane, so it’s very easy for you to mistype in serious matches.

Your response time matters a lot in Fortnite, NINJA said that gamers use Wireless mice which sabotage their gameplay. Wireless mice have input lags, which are between eight to sixteen milliseconds. Input lag is the time taken by your PC after you click certain buttons. Gamers should always go for a Wired mouse rather than a wireless one.

Gamers overlook a mousepad which is also an essential part of your gaming experience. NINJA told everyone to go for bigger mousepads, which are smooth and give you comfort while moving your mouse.

Practice More

People lose Fortnite matches because of their bad gameplay and techniques. Players need to improve their technical skills. If you want to be a good shooter then learn how to flick aim. When a normal play sees an enemy he stops and aims at him, and it’s very wrong. You should not be stopping, rather flick your crosshair to the enemy and shoot. You have to react fast whenever you see an enemy.

NINJA also points out a mistake which is pre-shooting, players don’t aim where they need to aim. When players go over the hill, they aim upwards then they use the mouse to aim down the hill. You won’t be able to be a Fortnite pro if you aren’t able to aim down while running upwards the hill.

If you want to be a better Fortnite player then start practicing, practice makes perfect. You have to put your time into the game as an athlete puts in his game. Train as much as possible everyday to train your muscle memory, so you can use the tips NINJA gave you.  

With the right gear, and practice you can be a pro Fortnite player.
