In the new season of Fortnite, players can encounter four bosses in order to acquire powerful weapons and special abilities. But unlike the other three bosses, Zeus is one of the hardest bosses in the new Chapter 5. But don’t worry as I am going to guide you on ‘How to Beat Zeus’.
Where to Find Zeus in Fortnite Map?
Zeus is located on Mount Olympus on the Map. You shouldn’t have any problems with finding the location.
After going to Mount Olympus, proceed to the main hallway, where a central altar holds a statue of Zeus.
In order to fight with Zeus, you have to engage with a statue to trigger the boss battle. It’s not going to be easy for you, be ready before the big battle with Zeus
Prepare for the Battle Against Zeus.
Before triggering Zeus, gear up. Remember, you won’t be the only one eying for the Mythic Huntress DMR. There are going to be plenty of players on Mount Olympus. They might sabotage your plans, so you should prioritize searching for weapons and shields to maintain maximum health.
It’s recommended to get shotguns and SMGs as your weapon. SMGs are killers in Mid range fighting, while shotguns are pretty good for close range. Snipers can give fatal damage when you use it well, but it’s very hard to use them in close range.
Thunderbolts also can be really good weapons while attacking Zeus. While fighting Zeus, please look out for other players as well.Â
How to Defeat Zeus In Fortnite?
In order to completely defeat Zeus, players have to complete three stages.
First Stage –
After summoning, Zeus will wield a Warforged Assault Rifle and boast substantial health and shields. To effectively take down his shields, you should use EMP grenades. Maintain a high ground. This can force Zeus to pursue, making him vulnerable.
Now, with which bosses you are fighting, headshots are always the best way to defeat them. Aim for headshots using SMGs, or you can use Snipers. Beware of his lightning attacks, seek cover or run away to avoid them.
Second Stage –
After defeating Zeus for the first time, he kneels and creates a lightning bubble around him, immobilizing himself. In the second stage, he will summon minions armed with Assault Rifles to help the Greek God.
Players must eliminate these minions, to go into the third and final stage. Each of them has a limited health pool of 100, which makes them vulnerable targets.
Remember to reload your gun before eliminating the last minions, to gear up for the final battle with the boss.
Final Stage –
After eliminating the last minion, Zeus will rise up in the air in his lightning bubble and absorb it, significantly increasing in size, nearly doubling his normal character model, as well his health pool. You must be cautious of his lethal leap attack. When an electric ring appears around a player, they should quickly move away, as Zeus leaps into it, damaging anyone within the circle.
Take covers regularly, and don’t stay in one place. Attack regularly and you will defeat Zeus.
Perks of Defeating Zeus In Fortnite
After defeating Zeus in Fortnite, players will be able to claim two important rewards like Zeus’ Speed Medallion, and Mythic Huntress DMR Sniper.
The speed Medallion will enhance the player’s speed and jump capabilities. But beware as it can also reveal your location on the Map.
Zeus’ Huntress DMR is special as it gives 79 damage on body shots and can easily eliminate a player in one Headshot.
