EA released the trailer of “Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia” and fans aren’t happy about it. The game is still in the beta phase and it’s only available in certain countries. The global release of PVZ3 is going to happen sometime this year.
Plants Vs. Zombies (PVZ) is a popular mobile game available to play on Android and Apple. Over the years, the game series has become popular among mobile users, and fans were looking up for PVZ3.
Plants Vs. Zombies 3 beta version was released in 2022, it was available in some countries like Australia, and the Philippines. The first beta version got a lot of criticism due to animation, and micro transactions. EA again soft-relaunched it and improved nothing on the new version.
Plants Vs. Zombies 3 is a story driven game where you defend your neighborhood from Zombies like other games with episodic narrative, you would be able to build your neighborhood, but sometimes you have to pay certain amounts for in-game money and items.

EA now soft relaunched Plants Vs Zombies 3 in countries like The United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, and the Philippines. People who have played the game are disappointed as the game is very bad. They have to watch a lot of ads and pay to win some game levels and the gameplay is also crappy and boring. Fans are even saying PVZ 1 and 2 are better than PVZ3.
Fans were saying the same thing after the PVZ3 beta was released, but EA and PopCap neglected fans’ criticism. Fans aren’t happy about the multi-transaction they have to do in the game. EA has a bad reputation for making crappy multiplayer games just to make money. Reddit users even say the game won’t last for a year.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville previous game in the PVZ franchise got very positive feedback from players and fans. The game didn’t get any new updates, which turned out to be the downfall of it. The game ‘s last update was in 2020 and it’s dead after it.
EA and PopCap should respect fans and try to give what they want rather than making useless games just for money. If they don’t care about fans, it’s not so soon that people may lose interest in their games.
