SCOGA (Singapore Cybersports and Online Gaming Association) has just announced that Campus Legends, their regional Esports event, is returning for its sixth season. SCOGA is also partnering up with the National Council Against Drug Use to support the event.

Campus Legends, Singapore’s long-running Esports tournament, is set to captivate once again with its unique blend of student participation and a diverse range of Esports titles. This year, Teams of students will compete in games like Valorant and Mobile Legends, which will add fresh and exciting dynamics to the event. Campus Legends has been a transformative force in recent years. It has boosted the careers of many players and students and inspired them to pursue their passions for Esports and event organisation.

While there are several stages at the tournament, early June is reserved for open school qualifiers. Afterward, there will be group stages and playoffs in June and July, followed by the Grand Finals in August.

This year, Campus Legends is receiving support from major international and national brands like AOC, Acer Predator, My Republic, and SCAPE. These brands’ support not only showcases the tournament’s growing recognition but also highlights the importance of Esports among youth and the society they live in.

Singapore’s National Council Against Drug Use supports this event under the tagline “Towards a drug-free Singapore.” This partnership showcases the benefits of a drug-free lifestyle for youngsters. In addition, a conference mainly focused on educating parents about gaming and Esports while informing them about drug abuse will be organised.

According to Dennis Ooi, President of SCOGA, Campus Legends wouldn’t be a success without the unwavering support of the gaming community and esteemed parents. He also mentioned that this event won’t be just about gaming and enjoyment; it will also promote preparing and empowering youths for upcoming life challenges.

Making it even more important is the fact that students will have better opportunities to learn invaluable communication, problem-solving, and resilience skills during this tournament.
