The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered gets an official release on the new PlayStation 5. The game divides fans on whether to like it or hate it. Fans even asked Naughty Dog to remove the word remastered after playing the game.
Before the release of the re-mastered version, it got rave reviews, but after its release, it divided players. Players like the new mode and the dual sense feature, but their main problem is the visuals. The Last of Us Part 2 Re-mastered didn’t offer anything new in terms of visuals and quality, which is the main drawback of the game.

The best example would be Insomniac’s Spider-Man game. They changed everything when they remade the PlayStation game for PC. From characters’ facial structure to gameplay. Insomniac upgraded everything.
The Last of Us fans also expected something similar to the Spider-Man remake. But it didn’t match their expectations. Fans are kind of disappointed. According to fans Naughty Dog should have promoted the game as “Directors Cut”, as it has some extra footage and gameplay rather than promoting it as “Remastered”.

TLOU 2 is an adventurous game with a lot of actions, and due to the exclusive dualsense feature PlayStation 5 provides, fans were excited to play the remastered version on PS5.
In the remastered The Last of Us Part 2 version, players would be able to play the new rogue survival mode “No Return”. They will play as the main characters, Ellie, Abby, and a couple of other characters to fight enemies. Three levels were cut from the game when it was originally released, and you would be able to play them on the remastered version.
The re-mastered cost is around $49.99, which is very high for a 4-year-old game. If it’s costly for you, you can upgrade to the re-mastered version for just $10 dollars if you own the Last of Us Part 2 PS4 version. If you own the Last of Us 2 PS4 version and bought the re-mastered version, then don’t feel bad for wasting your money. Sony is reportedly refunding all the reworked version money and encouraging PS4 owners to buy the $10 upgrade.
