Eight teams are going to compete in the inaugural Honor of Kings invitational season 1 tournament. Level Infinite, developers of Honor of Kings, has announced the roster in a press conference. Among all the teams, Besiktas Esports (the Turkish Esports arm of a football club), Vivo Keyd (a Brazilian Esports Organization), and Twisted Minds (a Saudi Arabian organization) are going to participate in the event.

The first invitational circuit of this tournament is going to commence between the 2nd and 10th March. The venue is going to be the Pera Emek Sahnesi Theatre in Istanbul, Turkey. All the teams participating in this tournament will have a chance to win from a $3,00,000 Dollar prize pool. Not only that, the winning team will also get a place in the second season of this tournament.

Honor Of Kings Global Invitational Circuit

It was unveiled in January this year that the invitational circuit will be a part of the mobile MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) title’s Global expansion. Earlier, Honor Of Kings was released on Android and IOS platforms in multiple regions, including South Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Some gamers might be aware of the game’s origin and that it has an international adaptation, 2016’s Arena Of Valor. The invitational midseason for Honor of Kings will take place prior to the two seasons of the tournament. The midseason will take place in the Esports World Cup, and the game will collaborate with Esports to incorporate and launch an in-game skin.

Recently, in January this year, Tencent and Level Infinite announced a $15 Million Dollar investment into the global expansion of this tournament. They will also create local leagues, which will be similar to Brazil’s Pro Leagues. James Yang said that the Honor of Kings Invitational season 1 tournament is going to be the kickoff for their new global invitational series. Yang is a senior director at Level Infinite’s Global Esports Center. He also mentioned how thrilling it is for them to unveil the future of the Honor of Kings.
