January was an incredible year for gamers. As we played games such as Palworld. Palworld has become one of the highest-playing games on Steam. The game is in the number two spot after beating Counter-Strike to become the most-played game. In January, we saw games like Palworld, which was completely new, and remake games as well.
The Last of Us Part 2: Remastered was also a remake made for PS5. In this article, I would like to add 2 sections of “New Games” and “Remakes” that are scheduled to be released in February.
New Games In February
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (February 2)

Based on the Batman Arkham Universe, players would be able to play as the crazy supervillain team Suicide Squad, who has a mission to kill the controlled Justice League team. Gamers would be playing as Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and The Joker. But, there is one catch in it, Villains would get killed if they tried to abandon the mission.
The game is going to be released on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC on February 2, 2024. The game was available for early access, but it was later taken down due to a bug.
Skull and Bones (February 16)

Skull and Bones is a new third-person action-adventure open-world game. The game’s story takes place in the Golden Age of Piracy, and the players can play as a newbie pirate who goes on a journey to conquer the ocean.
The game is set to be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox on February 16, 2024. The game is already getting rave reviews from early access.
Foamstars (February 6)

Foamstars is a new 4v4 online shooter game set in a benzy foam world. Players would be able to play it online with other players. The game is only available for PlayStation 5 users and may be released on other consoles and PC in the future.
If you are a PlayStation Plus user, then it would be available for free. It’s going to launch for PlayStation store users on February 6, 2024.
Remake and Remastered Games In February
Aside from the new games such as Foamstars, Skull and Bones, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, we would also see a lot of Remake and Remastered games in February.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong (February 16)

Originally released in 2004, Mario vs. Donkey Kong exclusively gets a remake, which will be released on February 16. The remake is for Nintendo users, so other users might not get to play the remastered version now.
The game is enhanced on the graphics level, and players would be able to play co-op multiplayer.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (February 29)

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a remastered sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake (2020). The game is part of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy, where game developers enhanced graphics and also improved the gameplay.
This is incredible as the old game was released on PlayStation in 1997. Remaking a two-decade old game is hard, as they have to make the game from scratch rather than enhance the old game. The game is scheduled to be released on February 29, 2024, in PlayStation 5.
Persona 3: Reload (February 2, 2024)

A remake of the old Persona 3 (2006) game, which is scheduled to be released on February 2, 2024. It’s a role-playing video game. Players will play as the protagonist who gets the power of summoning a persona.
Persona 3 remake is getting very positive reviews from reviewers. It will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC.
