In a celebration of technological prowess and innovation, WinZo, a leading tech and entertainment platform, recently announced 10 winners of its highly acclaimed Bharat Tech Triumph (BTT) Program.
Around 150 different gaming and technology companies participated in the flagship for BTT, but only a few selected ones will get a chance to showcase their products to the world at the world’s largest gaming conference- the Game Developer Conference (GDC).
This gaming conference is scheduled to be held in San Fransisco in March, and global leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, visionaries, and various stakeholders will be taking part. The event ‘Bharat Tech Triumph’ aims to foster innovation and export technology and talent from India. This is the largest gaming platform initiated by WinZo to offer a stage where aspiring tech enthusiasts can come up with their innovations and skills to showcase themselves in front of the world.
This program invites every team from different domains, such as cybersecurity, software development, artificial intelligence, and others, along with their products so that they can showcase and contribute to India’s ecosystem and economy. All the 150 companies that participated in the Bharat Tech Triumph Program went through a rigorous selection process, which is itself an achievement for them.
The participants were evaluated by expert panels and veterans of the industry on the basis of innovation, impact, scalability, and relevance to societal challenges. Software Technology Parks of India additional director Rakesh Dubey, founding general partner of Lumikai, Justin Shriram Keeking, managing partner of Kalaari, Rajesh Raju, CPO & co-founder of CleverTap, Anand Jain, and AWS India Head of Gametech Segment Neha Yadav were some veteran and expert jury members for the program who evaluated all the participants and helped in choosing the winners.
During the competition, Paavan Nanda, who is the co-founder of WinZo, expressed his gratitude and encouragement towards the participating companies. He stated that the platform feels overwhelmed to bring vibrant energy and diverse brains together at one stage and showcase their inspiring stories.
Among the winners, the developers showcased games that belong to different genres and ranges that were inspired by some recent and epic incidents in the country. These games are the virtual representation of real-life incidents and traditions such as Mahabharata and Ramayana, a temple construction simulation game, virtual cricket, and more that will be loved by the players.
The winners of the Bharat Tech Triumph Program Include:
- Strategy Game- Kurukshetra, which is inspired by Mahabharata and Ramayana.
- Action-adventure Game- Mumbai Gullies, which revolves around the bustling city of Mumbai.
- Arcade Game- Shri Ram Mandir, in which players can construct the temple according to them.
- Shooting Game- ScarFall is a multiplayer game that allows players to kill and save.
- VR Game- Invrse Cricket, real-life cricket-playing experience.
- Puzzle Game- Bloom, a story and narrative-based entertaining game.
- 3D Game- Mayanagari is an open-world gangster game offered to players in 3D.
- Action-adventure Game- Unsung Empire: The Cholas is a 3D game that has sword-based combat and other features.
- Sci-Fi Game- Spook A Boo is a physics-based console game that comes with the best experience for the players.
By far, WinZo has successfully facilitated over 100 game developer partners in other countries and gaming markets. Last year, the winners participated in the WinZo showcasing its talents in the Brazil Game Show (BGS) that was held in Sao Paulo and promoted many games, including traditional Indian games such as Ludo, Carrom, Snake and Ladders. These games were new to the Brazilian gaming market and audience and hence boosted around 90 million users. The aim of the platform remains constant, and they are committed to showcasing the country’s incredible talent and innovation on the global stage.
