RummyCircle and My11Circle’s developer Games24x7, recently organized the Pitch day for its GameTech Accelerate program. The Accelerate program is a platform for the seven emerging startups to demonstrate their visionary ideas. The GameTech Accelerate program was launched in December 2023, in partnership with the Government of Karnataka. The accelerator program is designed to give the startups industry exposure, access to investors, mentorship from industry experts, and so much more.
Games24x7 received more than 200 Applications for the GameTech Accelerate program out of which only seven startups were selected. Playda, Pixcell Play, PlayCKC, Brahman Studios, NoobStorm, Pro Shooter VR, and Mantis Pro Gaming were the 7 startups selected to take part in the program, due to their unique offering to the online gaming industry. These startups cover various areas such as new game development, real-time analytics, security protocols, and community integration. These seven startups demonstrated their innovative strategies, which can transform the Indian gaming industry in the future.
With support from mentors associated with Games24x7, Amazon Web Services, and Lumikai, the chosen startups obtained help in refining their strategies to prepare for pitching their visions to a panel of investors. This investor panel includes Peak XV, Prime Venture Partners, Sony Innovation Fund, and additional stakeholders.
Priyank Kharge, the Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, emphasized the Karnataka government’s dedication to promoting emerging industries such as online gaming. He pointed out Games24x7’s GameTech accelerator program as evidence of Karnataka’s commitment to supporting new talent and progress in the digital sector.
Rajat Bansal, the Chief Technology Officer at Games24x7, praised the startups for their innovative thinking and mindset. He said the accelerator program is designed to accelerate their path to success by offering mentorship, guidance, and a platform to showcase creativity and innovation.
A few Government officers attended the accelerator program, such as Dr. Ekroop Caur IAS, and Darshan HV, and many others to showcase support toward startups and encourage them.
