The main drawback of this subscription is PS4, now games are releasing on PS5. You won’t be able to avail some perks which are for PS5.
Xbox Series S have two subscription plans Core (349 Rupees) and Ultimate (549 Rupees). Both are Monthly, yearly versions aren’t available in India yet. Xbox S is also compatible with Xbox X games, so you can also play new games.

Xbox S supports backward compatibility, you can play Xbox 360, One games on Xbox S. But you have to buy them digitally to play it on Xbox S.

You can’t find new PS4 consoles now, as Sony stopped manufacturing PS4. You can only find refurbished, and pre-owned versions of PS4. You can easily buy a PS4 refurbished and pre-owned version between 12k to 20k. As it’s old Hardware, you have to depend on a third-party service center.
Microsoft still manufactures Xbox S and also sells them. A new Xbox S will cost you around 32k, whereas pre-owned will start from 19k. You will also need to depend on a third party service center if you don’t buy Xbox S from any official Microsoft affiliate.
Which is Better for Gaming Xbox S or PS4?
If we compare both consoles then Xbox S is a better option for gaming in 2024, as you will be able to play new games on it. Quality and resolution are far better than PS4. You will get regular updates and many more perks in Xbox S.
If I were talking about myself I would choose PS4 over Xbox S. I want to play popular games like Ghost of Tsushima, the Last of Us series, Spider-Man, God Of War series. PS4 lasted for 7 seven years, and it has enough good games that you can play for 1, 2 years. If you don’t have the budget to buy a PS5 , buy a PS4. When you have enough money, then you can go for PS5.
